How to Properly Adjust Your Car Mirrors

How to Adjust the Left Mirror

  • Sit up straight with your back against the seat, then turn your head to look into the left mirror.
  • Adjust it horizontally so that both door handles and the side fender are visible, occupying no more than 5-7% of the mirror’s view.
  • Adjust the left mirror vertically so that about 40% of the view is sky and 60% is ground.

To check the result, touch your head to the left window. In this position, the rear fender of the car should occupy about one-third of the reflection in the mirror.
